That's how I see it too. The main advantage of a multi-carb setup is to be able to have each carb feed less cylinders. That way, cylinders 1 & 2 get the same amount of fuel as 3 & 4, and 5 & 6. That's the main benefit, as all cylinders are equally fed and equally balanced, which gives more power and performance (and I would also assume economy if done right).
By choking them all back down to a 4V entrance, you're basically simulating a 4bbl carb's primaries and secondaries by giving the jobs to different carbs instead of two sets of barrels.

That said, that's a SUPER cool setup, and whether or not you'll see the advantages of a multi-carb setup aside, you'd definitely have some bragging rights, and have a lot of fun doing it at the same time.

Well im still amassing parts but with what I have is a 300 efi block (no fuel pump block of plate needed), 240 head, 390 forged pistons, hardened stock sized valves from si, custom ground roller cam from comp cams, beehive springs and retainers, lunati solid roller lifters for 429/460, harland sharp roller rockers, screw in studs, hardened pushrods all sitting in my living room I should have a lot of bragging rights and everything is something any gear head can do or have done on a budget. save a custom cam everything I just mentioned is less than 300 and should be a reliable daily that I can take to the track there is much more on this truck other than engine but thats a different thread including a vortech or procharger supercharger planned
