Whoa, my good buddy! I only have 1581 posts and I wouldn't call me a newbie, been around this site since 1998....

I guess I just don't comment as much as some guys, like john niolon says, I just lurk around. ANd besides my truck has not given my any problems lately and I don't plan any big upgrades or changes in the near future.... Wait till retirement!

It's not the number of posts it is the quality of the posts.........

On a side note, I think the overall collaboration is back to normal, whatever normal is...........

I stand corrected. It just seems like alot of under 300 posts folks now. I like it that fte is a success, and enjoy most everyone here.

The number of posts is not indicative of the value of a person's contributions.A few mis-informed present/past members have felt their mythological ranking in the FTE hierarchy was in some way tied to their post-count .It's amazing/amusing how a question, once answered, will continue to be repeatedly answered, with each successive answer delivering, essentially, the same info. Some people feel the need to hear themselves, and have other people hear them, padding their post-counts with meaningless/useless repetition.I can understand something the first ten or twelve times it's explained, more than this is redundancy. In other words - Less is Sometimes More.Got my Grump on this a.m..Where's that whipping-boy/girl when you need it?

Big IV is starting off with a positive reputation.
I'm about a slow year into my truck. I don't check in often, but I like to check things out from time to time.

I first signed on when I got my truck, but life happened and it sat for several year. I now have it in my garage and am slowing working on it. Before, this site was just depressing knowing I couldn't work on my truck. Now, it's great inspiration.

I could probably have all my questions answered by just doing a lot of searching on this site, but it's more fun to ask you experts and get clarification on things. I get excited when I can actually answer a question every once in a while.

I'm also now addicted to Truck ****....
