Thumbs up Chopped top on `67-72

Just wondering if anyone has chopped the top on one of these great trucks & if so can ya post some pix. I seen one many years ago in WNY for sale a couple times. It looked great wish I woulda bought it. I would now if I could find it again. So if any of you have some pix that would be great.THANKX!!!

On fordification there a guy MARZ who has done it.

He is quite a talented guy, and his truck shows his style quite well.

I found this pic a couple of years ago; don't know if I'd ever do it to mine cause I'm tall, but it looks really cool.

Issues I know of are that the roof actually has to be widened & lengthened to fit, and the glass should be cut first and then the roof built to fit; otherwise it doesn't fit good and isn't at all forgiving.

There are a bunch of you tube videos on cutting windshields, a lot of different opinions/methods out there.

That looks great. I gotta do that to mine and I have a great, perfectly clean, rust free pallet to work with. Lower the top. Shorten the bed. Drop the body. Tuck the bumper...

It's your truck but why would you ruin a good truck by chopping it. These trucks are getting hard to find and they should be left alone.

That looks so cool. These trucks just keep lookin better all the time.

Just kidden about chop'n on old Louie, I wouldn't dream of changing a thing on my truck. I would love to do a full custom on a second truck and park the two side by side.


Marz's truck is looking fantastic. That's some nice metal work.
