Well another new truck. F350

Just picked up another good deal at the auction. 1994 ford f350 dually crew cab 7.3 power stroke turbo manual trans. Got it for $1500. Runs like a champ!!!

Now the bad. Miles unknown, dash inop, trans shifts hard(syncros or low oil), body pretty beat up, no ac, rigged up push button start, the seats need to be burned and replaced. Needs all new interior. And much more

But hey for the price i can't complain. Anyone have a set of good seats. Preferably captains chairs?

Someone give me their email so I can send pics for you to post.

That I don't know. I haven't seen the truck yet. Color not an issue. Do you have pics of the seats?

Sorry not 94. It's a 95. Yes for sure it's a powerstroke. $1500 not a deal? Since when? Sure it's got some faults, but I don't care. Gonna drive it till it blows up.

CARFAX will give u the mileage from every time that i has change hands unless the mileage is exempt but it will still give u the mileage up until it was exempt so u can atleast estimate the mileage... and i have seen PS heads sell for 900-1200 i think u could get around 600 for the used turbo 500-600 for the 10.25 rear, 900-1800 if it has the D60, and 1200 all the way up to 2500 for a 4x4 PS ZF tranny.... you can price parts from just about any junkyard/salvage yard in north america at car-parts.com

Thanks for the info man. But Im not junking the truck. From what my dad is telling me now it seems like a nice truck. He's driving it home right now. 2 hours into the drive and no problems. He's not use to a manual but says it shifts fine now. Cruising at 75 and drives perfect. He doesn't like it cause it's very loud.

Any good mods for this truck for fuel economy? Wonder if it's the same as moding my 02? Besides the split shot injectors.

I built my excursion for power and fuel economy. Gets 23 mpg at 70 mph. Would like to get similar out of the f350

Where do you live, i will start parting out my trucks there. And just because a JY gets those prices doesnt mean you can

I cant get 400 for a long block PSD
turbos are about 100
rear dually axle is 500
It doesnt have a d60 front axle(because it is 2wd) but if it did 850 at most
and a 2wd zf trans is worth about 200

Unknown milage, beat interior, beat exterior, = 1000

Hell i paid 1000 for this F-superduty w 250k on the clock and it is in reaaly good condition other than the wood on the flat bed

But that a single cab work truck with a flat bed. I can those at the auction for under 700 all day long. I can't stand having a single cab though.

Interior on my 350 is about 70% of the problem. Put new seats, headliner, and fix the problems and this truck will be a pretty nice dialy driver. Just gonna be a bitch to park

F-superdutys are worth more than 2wd f350s everyday of the week around here, because they are a minimum 15k gvw

Beat up 2wd are not worth squat. Not saying you got screwed but you paid what it is worth maybe a touch more
