Hello people.

I'm in the UK with my F350 Super duty, which is hard enough to drive due to our tiny roads, but I've now brought a 36 foot 5th wheel trailer (Newmar Kountry Aire) and measure 50+ foot.

My problem is my mirrors suck, they are the fixed version and can not see a darn thing when pulling, mine are non electric non heated, so I figured I'd check E-bay and wow I see a manual telescopic pair off a 2004 tipper F350 ending in 10 minutes from New York.

He shipped to the UK so I bidded at the very end and got em for $180 delivered to England.

But do they fit?? can anybody confirm??

Mine is a early 99 neither mine nor the 2004 have electric or heated mirrors.

I have an early '99 and when I swapped mine out I had an issue with the wiring harness. I ended up just splicing the wires together with butt connectors. Fastener holes were all the same. The mirrors I picked up were an aftermarket brand with the years 99-06 on them.

I have 05 mirrors on my early 99. Turn lights, parking lights, power glass, heat and telescoping.

The power glass plugged in but I had to splice in my own wiring for the rest. And my own switch for the heat which was from a 97 Ford explorer, (timer is built into the switch)

Like I said I've no worries with wiring as mine and the used ones I've brought have no electric's.

Think the seller was slightly surprised seeing his used mirrors going around the world, he only sold due to buying bigger?

Same genuine Ford units, Ford UK wanted $650!!!! and no I'm not joking plus a 8 week wait

 

Yea it's about $550 here in Colorado from the dealer. They get ya no matter where you are at.
