Upholstery almost completed

I worked on the headliner this week, since we had weather in 15-20 degrees Celsius days. Stuck with my PVC templates and got headliner covered and in place. Shaped the sides yesterday and have them attached, probably will wait until warm spring weather to complete them; it is snowing today !
The PVC is brittle in cold weather. I used a heat gun to shape them and although they are not perfect; they are as good as the original cardboard for sure. Lots of trial and error, but it is done.

Tried to upload a couple of pics but can't seem to save them to my gallery ? ? ?

While not as clever as some with the head liner work, I do have an offer that may be of interest. I have pieces from a 49 original interior available for the cost of shipping. All the parts below the headliner in the stock brown: back panels and kick panels. Obviously, these show some wear. They would spiff up an interior somewhat. Shoot me a pm if you have a use.

I got the panels from FortyNiner, used them as templates, and and they are ready to go if anyone wants them. Cost of shipping only but because of the size of the box it is not cheap. PM me if you have an interest.

Would I do it again? Probably, it would be much easier the next time. I have about $200 into this.... the trim shop quoted me $800+....so I like that part. But it was a huge amount of work

Thanks for following along and your positive comments, here are some final pics.... When I get it out side I will take some better ones.

a few question how is the coner peice holding there is it only whit screw, also how can i said this is the corner round piece fit a perfect in the corner those the round part that you did follow the round of the truck am trying to do this whit sheet metal i got it rounded at a tin shop hoping that it will fit but am off some.

The corner pieces are held in by the window rubber and the pieces above and below the rear window overlapping them. And by screws along the door edge.
I used aluminum for this because it keeps it's shape...sheetmetal will be harder to use because it is flexible, but should work if you get it the right shape.
Did you make a pattern? It is a must as these pieces have to be exactly the right size...
