2011 F-150 Job#2 info?

Just wondering if anyone has seen any of the information on the Job #2, Job #3, etc. trucks. I've been looking but thought I'd turn to you F-150 Gurus to see if any of you have anything.

Job 2 started up production of the ecoboost engine- about Jan 3 at Dearborn and yesterday at KC. The only job 2 changes that I know of are:
1. All ecoboosts get a heavier rear axle due to the torque of the engine being too much for the original to handle
2. A 4.10 axle is available if you get a FX4 with max tow and 20" wheels

Interesting.
I was wondering about this because my order sheet says "Job 2 Build"

From what I recall, all job 2 F-150s get the upgraded axle, regardless of engine.

Did momma give you a thumbs up John? The upgraded axle sounds real good to me.

My upcoming EB drive has left my in an inquisitive mood, that's a good thing.

I've got the thumbs up when I'm ready Tim.

I'm curious to see if they're going to add any colors mid-cycle or wait until next year. I'm guessing it'll be next year.

I specifically asked the Ford engineer about the ecoboost getting the heavier axle and he said that it was. He made no mention of a heavier axle for the others. Some one from Ford will have to verify

Is Ford using something different than the 9.75"'now as their heavy axle?

Seems to me that if the ecoboost needs a heavier axle due to torque, that the 6.2L would also need a heavier axle, since the torque is similar

A Sterling axle employee apparently did verify over on the Blue Oval forums. If I remember correctly, there were pinion shaft and bearing issues which also affected the Raptor. Doesn't make sense for them to have two sets of parts when the cost differential for the upgrades should be minimal.
