Ok, fixin to go to the wreckin yard, not the truck, me. I need to find some front leafsprings. You say 99-04 F250 will fit and give it lift? Does it have to be off a F250? I expect it has to be off a 4x4, i think the 2x's are coils on the front? right? Help me here Oreo, your the genius!

no all 2 and 4 wheel are leafs... they didnt go to coil till the second half of 03 iirc. It will give you the lift you want id go for one off the 350s but the 250s will work, just not as much lift, but they are all positive arch iirc.

Thanks, I will go after some off of a F350. Wonder if I should change the back springs to F350 also?

do you have the rear shackle flip kit from sky? if not than i would go with that, that way it allows your spring pack to be mounted right on the perch with no block lessing chances of axle wrap and such. Plus the rear flip kit is like a 4" lift iirc

Yes, rear flip is already installed. So use f350 springs back there, and remove the blocks?

either set of springs off a superduty or our year from a 350 will work as far as i know. I would keep the blocks near by just in case you need a little more lift to make it look right. just remember with the flip kit on there if you put the blocks back on they will need to be turned the opposite way so they are facing the rear of the truck. This is because the flip kit lowers the rear mounting position of the spring a good bit and your rear axle angle has changed

And actually if I read their site right before, they actually recommend using lift blocks with their setup in place of the stock blocks under the spring, and as coalroller points out, installed in reverse. They say that the rear shackle flip moves the differential forward approximately an inch. That's an issue for me as 1" would likely stuff my driveshaft to fully compressed - big reason I still have stock shackles and lift blocks yet on mine.

No. the SD springs are 3.5" longer than your 80-97 springs. In order to use the SD springs you need to shove your RSK 3.5" forward of where you have it.

I am not so sure what you are trying to do is going to worth with the TTB. Good luck

Hey guys, im doin the same feveral sky manu the 5" kit. Onto a 94 f250. Had the ttb 50 and i swapped in the d60 kingpin. Im doing the 5" kit, with 6" lift springs from procomp 22610 for a 99-02 i think f250, same eye to eye length as stock so ya. Anyway im havin to do my own thing for frame mods, anyway i got it all together, tacked together, go to lift the truck by the axle and the spring shackle seings all the wY back to the frame and bottoms out. Whats that about? It seems theres not enough travel, anyhelp is appreciated. I posted an ad about this in the regular forum for my truck also

i have ran into the same problem as you and I really need these fab pieces . I'm stuck on this project and could REALLY use your help. Please let me know if you would be interested in remaking these frame inserts. I would really appreciate.

Thanks
