Talking Installed some goodies on the truck

i have gotten lots of goodies for my truck in the past couple of months and thought i would share with yall what i have done. i'm no mechanic but i know how to follow instructions, take things apart, understand everything, and put it back together. It also helps that i have a pretty decent set of tools. i managed to get everything done in my driveway with my dads help. Please feel free to ask any questions of you want, if you want detailed pics of something i will be happy to provide that also.

I ordered an unpainted grille surround and had it painted tomatch.

Diesel Site Fuel Filter

Transfer Flow 50 Gallon Fuel Tank. this installation I considered having done by professionals. I contacted the approved transfer flow installers around metro Atlanta, and after receiving quotes between $500-600 I decided to do it myself. Turns out it was quite easy to install.

Fab Fours Elite Steel Rear Bumper line-x to match the pale adobe running along the lower part of the truck. This bumper did not have theprovision to keep the oem tag lights. The single light that came with the install kit wasn’t to my liking so I drilled some holes in the bumper and made my oem lights work.

After the line-x

Herd Aero LT Front Bumper w/Warn M12000 Winch. I had my dad and a neighbor help out with this one. The bumper comes in three pieces: bumper, sub frame, and winch mounting plate. The subframe was bolted the frame. I then bolted the winch to the mounting plate and placed it on my motorcycle jack and raised into place to be bolted to the subframe. Lastly the bumper bolts to the sub frame. Having it in pieces makes it alot easier to install because the overall added weight to the truck is divided up. It also gives you more adjustment to play around with.

Wow, very nice.
I have been trying to talk myself into spending the money on a painted grille surround for three years now.

That fuel tank is huge!
Be 100% certain that new tank is sealed up correctly though.

Seriously sweet job. You did a great job of putting the pieces of the upgrades together. Love the front bumper.

Where did you get the unpainted surround from if you don't mind me asking.

How hard was it to install the fuel tank. Also what are the fuel filters for? Extra security or replacing stock ones?

the fuel filters are extra, it intercept the supply line going into the dfcm. the fuel flows through the diesel site filter and then into the dfcm. the tank was probably the hardest thing for me personally. It was nerve racking at first knowing that I am messing around with something really important like a fuel system. Once I had the stock tank removed I realized that it was really simple. The instruction that transfer flow provides are very detailed and I was never confused about what to do. I tell you what I was a bit nervous when I was raising the new tank into position. Moving around underneath that heavy thing before I had it strapped in was a bit nerve racking.

yeah it was expensive. The hardest part was waiting for the herd front bumper. I ordered it mid February and just got it last week. By the way it is a product of the canadia like you.

thanks. the truck will be getting new tired as well. I'm gonna see if I can sell some of these old parts that I took off. And use some of that money towards new tires.
