Ordered 2/15/11
No words yet from the dealer
My zip 85374 only has $4,500 but I also have the XPlan pin and the $750 coupon that expires 4/18. I hope my truck makes it in time.

Help me out here iggy, or anyone else for that matter. I also have an x-plan pin number. When I ordered my truck, the invoice listed the retail price and the dealer invoice price. When the total cost of the truck was done my cost was reflected as the dealer invoice cost. My understanding of the x-plan is the buyer buys at the dealer invoice level....true?

If not, what am I suppose to look for? I've been told I can ask, and receive, the true dealer invoice. Is that different than the dealer invoice pricing I currently have? Confused? Yeah, me too!! Oh, I have locked in on my trade in price on my Expedition.

You can ask the dealer for A plan, X plan, and dealer invoice and they will show you all of them.
Check out this web site, it is for people who get A & X plan, you will have to register through.
https://www.myplan.ford.com/myplanweb/login.do

This will get you some idea of the price of vehicles similar to what you ordered. You can also request a X plan PIN but you need your sponsors number to do so.

yes the dealer invoice number that you see is what ford actually charges the dealership to buy the vehicle but what most people dont know is that there is a thing called hold back. What that is is a set percentage that ford will actually reimburse to the dealership once they sell the truck. Some manufactures dont do hold back (but from what my dealer told me ford does) and manufactures usually give back anywhere from 1-3% to the dealership. what ended up happening with me is that i am getting below dealer invoice on the truck i ordered with out the use of any of the plans that ford offers and i will be getting about another 4-5000 off the final price with the ford rebates and other discounts like military etc.

You can only get prices for trucks or cars that are at the dealer already.
Here is a sample of one in your area:

This is some of the information for my zip code.

+ $1,000 Promotional Bonus Cash (PGM #11866)
+ $1,000 Ford Credit Bonus Cash (PGM #11862)
+ $1,000 Trade-In Assistance Bonus Cash (PGM #32352).

Trade-In Assistance Bonus Cash available to customers that currently own or lease a 1995 or newer Ford/LM/competitive car, truck or SUV who trade in or have a lease expiring by May 31, 2011.

Ford Credit Bonus Cash requires Ford Credit financing; not all buyers will qualify. Not available on F-650 and F-750. Residency restrictions apply.

This is the page I use.

I got to the dealer on monday, and he was waiting for me because he wanted to show me howe it came in.
Truck came in Friday evening after hrs, and the drivers side seat was dirty also the LF door on the inside was dirty from little transporter hands, these drivers have no respect for someones new vehicle.
Me pissed and dealer pissed, also little dent in left back door, that will be fixed but I think the dealer guy was even more upset than I was.
Other than that the total rebates where $4000 and than wat the dealer took off.
The bad news was the Ford Credit interest rate went up .9 % to 4,9%/60 mnds. but the dealer cant lock that in so he says.
Overall I'm happy with the deal and it took almost 10 weeks from ordering to delivering.
I like the Truck itself, but not sure about the 6.2 vs my old 7.3 diesel yet, need some more time to drive it.

Sorry to hear the bad news part of your msg Technocrsr. It was nice to read your dealer was pissed about the condition of your truck. I can only hope when mine arrives in the next few weeks I don't post the same results. Keep us updated on your opinion of the 6.2

Technocrsr you are really cool about the damage.
If after waiting 2 months for my truck and it comes in that way I'd demand to talk with Henry Ford even if they have to dig him up.
My italian blood would be boiling.

UPDATE

I just got a message from my deaaler that my truck is on the train in Ill some where. Bad part is I'm out of country until the end of the month.
So it should be here when I get back.

Ordered Feb 15, 2011
On Train March 11, 2011

If a train is traveling at 45 mph heading south from Chicago IL when would it arrive in Phoenix Arizona. Isn't it all down hill?

I may get at least the VIN via email to check the window sticker online.

See you soon.

Wow, that's quick. I'm surprised they didn't give you the VIN yet, should've had that about a week before the build date. Regardless, glad to hear it's on its way!
