I got a call from my salesman from the Ford dealer in Fargo this afternoon informing me they got 3 Ecoboosts in this morning. Of course I went straight over and drove a 4-door long box XLT with the chrome package (this was the one he had quickest access to). All I can say is simply AMAZING!! The power is stunning, even compard to the 5.0 I drove about one month ago. There is absolutely no doubt anymore for me, it will be the ECOBOOST!! Check your dealerships, they should be arriving in your neighborhood soon.

 

The EB has made it's way to Montana too! I test drove both an EB and 5.0 yesterday morning, here in Great Falls. We already have an EB on order, but driving it only confirms we made the right choice. After driving both, all I can say is that the EB (213 CID, 6 cyl) feels more like a "V8" than the 5.0......when I got out of that truck after the test drive, I was CRANKED UP! The EB is AWESOME!

 

I will be driving on on Friday. They have a few in at my local dealers. I am gonna test drive one as well as a 5.0. The Eco's that they have in have the 3.31 ratio though. When I order mine it will have the max tow 3.73's.

 

Got a bunch here a week ago. Yup even in the great white north...

 

Hmm, maybe I should take a spin up to Fargo this weekend and go talk to a sales guy at Luther.

 

Inventories for the dealers in my area have grown considerably over the past week. It appears the 2011's and Eco versions are flowing in.
