95 explorer A4LD tranny slips 2nd to 3rd, O/D light flashing
i just had this tranny rebuilt. i brought it home and installed it. the first test drive it wouldnt shift from 2nd to 3rd and 2nd only pulled up to about 20 or 25 mph. i drove it about 3 miles and parked it for about 20 minutes, i drove it back and at first it was doing the same thing, but it started doing better. now it slips between 2nd and 3rd and the overdrive light flashes constantly. i just spent $900 on the rebuild. new torque converter was installed also. please help ASAP!!!

First off, a '95 doesn't have an A4LD, the '95 uses a 4R44e or 4R55e. Might be a large part of your problem right there.
An incorrect fluid level can cause lots of problems. You also need to see what the code the OD light is flashing is, knowing what it doesn't like can go a long way towards fixing.
For the record, I don't see how you get a $900 transmission that is rebuilt. Used transmissions can cost that much. My transmission's parts alone cost more than that. A local shop charged be $800 for valve body work. The A4LD in my '94 cost me a little over $2800 to do a full rebuild. You can't expect to pay less than $1200 and get anything halfway descent in the rebuild world. Truth be told, I only consider upgraded rebuilts to be any good.
