Correct way to use the down and forward springs??

I have a 56 and want to keep the straight axle in it... I was looking at th edown and forward spring kit to lower the front and blocks for the rear...

Anyone use this and would you offer up some pointers? Truck has new breaks and king pins w bushings already...

This is on my 56 F100 wtih a small block in it... I want it low and mean looking..

You will need an extended drag link.

I have them in my '55, but it's nowhere close to being on the road.

Google Ford f100 truck parts and you will find many including:
Mid Fifty (favorite on here)
LMC
Dennis Carpenter
Blue Oval

Most have an on-line catalog or you can get a printed one. I would get a printed one from a couple of them as they have pictures which are invaluable.

Also try to find a shop manual. Ebay almost always has them.

And...

Welcome to FTE!!!

Couple more things.

Go into your User CP and edit details. Put where you are from so we can stalk your truck. (Well, maybe someone actually lives close by and can be of help!)
List your truck too, that way we know what you have.
Post pictures. We all love pictures.

Finally, there are a lot of people on here with tremendous knowledge who are glad to offer that knowledge. So ask questions!
