Can any on tell me what 351 this is

The guy selling it is not sure and i am waiting for him to read me block numbers. All I know is it is a 1996 5.8 efi. I believe it is a 351w but want to make sure before I drive there and look at it.

Gibby55, let me know if you don't buy it. I'm up in Tempe and interested.

Thanks, John

Nice score!

I have seen more and more complete and running SBF's sell for less than $500. Must be something in the water!?!? I snagged my '65 289 in parts for $250.

He has a NICE '65 Stang with a built 289 running a Ford factory Paxton huffer. He said the car was all original when he got it from Auburn, but he wanted more power so he pulled the factory installed 289 for the one he had built. The cam was wiped out, so he threw a new cam in what would become my engine, and let it sit. He sold the double dot heads for a mint, threw an intake on it, some '65 heads, and called it complete. None of that story was able to be proven, so I waved the BS flag. I wanted a 289 anyway so none of his story mattered to me.

Since the Windsor engine was the only 351 made after 1982, I don't see how a factory EFI 5.8 could be anything else. Sometimes, it's better to be smarter than the seller.

That's a Windsor. Don't argue with him just buy it and let him think what ever he wants. That's about as good as it gets when it comes to the stock 351W's. You've got a MAF EFI 351W with a roller cam.

It's a good base to build off from.
