I thought I'd share a picture of my period correct 'bucket seat'. I think it looks pretty good in there. It works good for those times when a guy has to make rrrrrrrrr-rrrrrrrrrrr-rrrrrrrrrrrrr sounds.

Anyone else have a custom, in progress seat they're proud of?

Must have been used in the principal's office and not in study hall!

Woohooo!!!

Somehow that just fits! I've driven trucks sitting on milk crates and 5 gallon buckets, heck, back in high school I drove a 68 F-100 for several months with lawn chairs in it. I have got to say, that old desk chair somehow looks right

I could spend a happy afternoon sitting in the garage sipping frosty beverage while making happy little vroom vroom noises.

Thats too funny, reminds me of something i ran across today. There was a video i was checking out of a "rat rod" on youtube, this greaser wanna be said he didn't like his car (32-34 ish) called a rat rod because he does quality work. Then he proceeds to show the interior of the car with recovered seats and explains that they were originally office chairs....quality work my ***.

Great looking seat...and you have a backrest too! I used the chopping block from the firewood pile one time and it rocked and rolled right out from under me.

Even though mine is a bit more modern, I think it qualifies for "Old School".
