so I'm working for my friends grandpa. for about a year not the van i use has had no speedo/abs/air bags. i am in the process of checking the fuses..and i found 1 blown 5 amp fuse...now when i start the van the ABS light goes off for about 1 second then comes back on..still no speedo or airbags. only issue with this. is it has to be a cheap/free fix..i have no money and my boss don't wanna spend any money on the van..

 

update: i grabbed my test light..and every fuse is good on both sides..inside box, and engine box..what could be the issue..

 

If I recall correctly from my factory EVTM the speedo and air bags are two completely separate systems as is the ABS. If you're having problems with each of them its likely there are multiple issues.

I'd suggest going to eBay and looking for an EVTM like this one: 1999 Econoline Club Wagon Truck WIRING Shop Manual - eBay (item 390261723269 end time Feb-10-11 09:21:10 PST)

There are ones in better condition and I've used this particular seller a few times before so they're quite dependable and good to deal with for such things.

These manuals are invaluable for such issues.

 

nice, well ill tell my boss..and it'll be his choice lol i cant figure out why the speedo wont work..the ODO works, so the sensor is fine..

and the fuse for the air bag was out so i replaced that and all the other fuses that were missing..i got air bags, radio, AC, and rear lights back working
