The bigger fenders in my opinion look better anyway.
A F350 M-H 4x4 is far from a rusty F100.

don't think he liked the idea of his truck dieing to let mine survive..hasn't called back..so on the hunt again...

How long has the truck been for sale? Maybe you just have to wait him out a little longer. Those big trucks don't sale to fast.

he has had it for sale for a couple of week's ,I',m hopeing he is just trying for more money ...or at worst it will be saved as a working fire truck..it may be that he does shift work and just can't get back to me..I hope..if I get the truck I am looking at a tow job of 3 hours.border crossing,paperwork.another tow home I think the tow company's are gonna make more money then the owner,,,

That's why you don't tell the PO what your real plans are with the truck, unless they involve restoring the truck to its former glory.

Trust me, I wouldn't sell one of my old cars to a person that's going to chop it up. Case in point, a few years ago I was selling a 37 DeSoto. It was an all original and unrestored vehicle that just needed a tune up. A couple of middle-age lowrider guys came over and looked at it. I knew exactly what they were going to do with it, eventhough they didn't tell me directly... lower it, put some Daytons, a visor, air conditioner on the window, etc. They were going to turn it into a "bomb". They didn't even haggle with me on the price, but I passed on their offer because I didn't want the car being turned into what they had in mind.

I sold it a week later to another guy who has kept it all original and is driving it.

so a bomb is a bad thing... really would like to see all the neet cars an'trucks you guy's have in calily-fornia...haven't been there in years,first time was in ...72' a grad party that got us a 1200 mile trip to Disneyland...not bad for three drunk's from vancover island with 250 bucks in our pockets...first time I had seen low ridersz...and chrome undercarriage !!!had more fun watching the street cars then Walt's place..oh well time to get to work..

got pictures of the truck...20 years outside in the pacific north west ...she's as bad as my truck...so I am still looking...

ok I read the instructions on posting I can see the pictures but it wont move to where I want ...been trying for 2 day's n still cant do it...so I'm gonna load the 54 and haul a load to the dump ..I can fix and maintain my truck's but this thing is like old people on the highway ....wait oh crap I am an old people....
