This should be a great forum. The EcoBoost is one compelling engine.

Congrats on the new gig John!

Thanks Scott, Dave, and Mike! Yet another great up and coming forum here. Looks like EcoBoost is going to be a huge hit for Ford so I'm anxious to see folks posting up reviews, test drives, and new truck pics!

Welcome everyone!

Talking new ecoboost

New to the site. I thought I would give my thoughts on ecoboost. I have about 230 miles on my xlt crew cab ecoboost and I traded my 2010 chevy silverado crew for it. At first the ford is bigger all around, and deffinatley rides nicer on flat road and bumpy roads. I live in upstate new york and we have lots of snow and the truck is great in it. As far as power goes let me just say the chevy can't compare. Has great throttle response and picks up very good. The chevy would peter out on a hill and I would have to stomp on it, not the ecoboost. In town so far 16-17mpg and highway 55 mph 19-22 mpg depends on hills. I love the truck and plan on towing enclosed car trailer with toys in april. can't wait to try that. I also have 7.3 desiel f250 and like that truck also but with prices going up for fuel I will be driving the eco most of the time. Eccept warm weather have to be on bike.
