Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been a troll on FTE for years and years. With the repository of information on the servers, I have never felt the need to post; I could always find what I needed, and I never had much to contribute. I have, however, recently decided that I need more social activities in my life. If I'm here, I can't be out, potentially dragging something home that will ultimately require another out building, thus keeping the XYL happy. I am also a Ham, and enjoy chatting with martians, and I have an affinity for anything that is odd or interesting. I have a small collection of Fords:
1984 Country Squire 302 TFI (everything works) 256K
1986 F-250 6.9 ExCab SRW 4 speed 152K
1991 Escort 48K (really 48K)
1993 F-350 7.3 CC DRW Auto 98K
1998 Lincoln Town Car 175K
2000 Taurus FFV 150K
2006 Volvo XC-70 30K
Plus two bikes, a boat, a camper etc...

See what I mean about keeping me off the streets. It was worse, I just got rid of 4 other vehicles. But I really don't run a junk yard, they are all runners and they are all plated, and insured current. Anyway, that's a little about me, I hope to be able to productive member of the group.

So what's up with the Martians these days?

 

I have been Told that the collection must be reduced by 2. Not sure which ones I'll give up yet, but if it keeps the peace, Happy Times. Probably the Lincoln and the Escort. We'll see.

Martians: Not much, they pretty much hang around, drink mars beer, and wait for us to blow ourselves to kingdom come.

 

Hey I want some of that Mars beer!

 

I've heard that it's very similar to an IPA. I think the martians and I would get along just fine!!

So you have been "informed" ... okay TOLD (haha) to reduce the fleet...yeah...if momma ain't happy...you know the rest!
