Harley Rims and 4WD ?
I just got a smokin deal on 4 2004 18" Harley Davidson Forged Alum Wheels to put on my 2004 CC 4wd XLT. $400 with all lugs and 4 caps in near mint shape.
Good Deal?
I have manual Hubs that say "LOCKED" or "AUTO" and have the 4wd buton on the dash.
The center caps on the HD rims are BIG and look like they will cover the hub, but am i screwed here because i dont haVe auto hubs? oR Do I just pop the caps when i go to "lock up"
Sorry if this sounds stupid, but my last 4WD was a chev that was automatic, and before that was my 95 bronco that had Warn manual hubs.
Thanks in advance.

You do have the auto hubs. On these trucks you can run them in auto which is vacuum operated or lock them in the in the lock position so you know you won't have any issues if vac fails or bust a line off or something. You will be fine if your 4x4 system is in good working order. These trucks, if they were ordered with the ESOF delete, ESOF being the system you have, they came with a manual lever in the floor to engage the 4x4 and you would have hubs that read LOCK and FREE like regular manual hubs I do believe.

The 04 Harley Hubs are solid in the center, you'll either have to remove the center caps to lock the manual hub or you could carefully cut the center out on the front so you have access if the auto lock function is failing. Repeatedly taking them off could be a problem after a while, I lost 2 or 3 of mine just driving down the highway from having the tires rotated, the springs seam to weaken.
