Transmission Problem, Question - 1994 F250 351 Automatic

Hey guys.. I have a 94 F250 - 95k miles, Automatic w OD, 351 4x4. During plowing I had an issue with the truck not shifting about 2nd gear. Trans over temp code was there, I changed out the fluid and filter, and it was fine after that. My dad used the truck this morning to plow the road and when i took it to work today, it was not shifting again. I had to get a few driveways done so I sucked out what i could, put new fluid in and it was good for a little while. At the end when put in reverse, it wouldnt catch till it was revved up. On the way home (About 8 miles) it wouldnt shift above 2nd again. I have codes 628 Excessive converter slippage and 657 Trans over temp. I am now draining the fluid and torque conv and changing it again, but should I be worried?

Ok. Changed the oil out. It had too much fluid in it. Refilled to correct level with new fluid, Did not see any drain plug on the torque convertor, so I pulled one of the rubber lines off (by my cooler) and ran it for a little while dropping new fluid in it, hoping to flush it a bit before changing the fluid. Reverse works perfect, 1st and 2nd work smooth. Shifts into third but it doesnt feel like it has a 4th. It slips. Now also, it seems like it goes into 2nd twice when going up a hill. Itll shift from 1st, but than quickly shift again to a lower rpm. This truck has always done this, and if the shifter is in 2nd gear it still does this. Anyway, any ideas would be a huge help guys. Thanks!

I have a 1994 f250 and it started shifting strange yesterday out of the blue. I changed out the fuse on the fuse panel for the vss and it keeps blowing the fuse. Any suggestions

My suggestion is to find the short circuit that is blowing the fuse.
