Had about 6" snow a few days ago. More possibly next Tuesday.

Last years spring thaw didn't happen until May. Not gonna wait that long.

 

If you want a thaw sooner, then put your dog sled away and head towards warmer weather. At least in this parts of the woods all it is doing is raining... so trade the frozen turf for mud.

 

Gonna go for the mud here real soon. Lights are under the truck thawing it out now.

That pic is what happens when the block heater element goes out. Yes, there is some antifreeze in there. That's why it wasn't frozen solid and a little green tint was in there.
