There's a big difference with my setup.
My fuel pump is mounted on the end of the fuel pickup.
It's far easier to push a fluid than to try and pull it.
The filters that I plan to use are rated about 12-14 gallons per minute
The fuel pump will move 1 gallon per minute so there is plenty of capacity.

PRIMARY FUEL FILTER

SECONDARY FUEL FILTER

And maybe I will try out the 2 micron filter too.

HIGH EFFICIENCY FUEL FILTER

All of the above fuel filters are flow rated more than 10x times the volume that the fuel pump will output at 0 psi.
Raise the pressure to 60 psi and the volume will drop.

Just got off the phone with someone who called me at work, stating that he is going through the same thing as I am, not recieving the package, and getting the same excuses.
I am going to give him 48 more hours, then reverse the charges if UPS tracking doesn't show that they have the package and it is en route.
For now, do not buy anything from F1filtration.com

I'm disappointed to see this happening to you. Hopefully, the products you ordered will be delivered soon. What's confusing is that "he" sent you a UPS label. Usually, UPS sends you an e-mail letting you know the tracking number and status of deliver.

I ordered some fuel filters from Diesel Injection Service in Lubbock TX a couple years ago (very reputable company), they were sent UPS. I never received them. DIS had to send me another box because UPS said they lost the first one.

Hi, Corey, thanks for the update.
I just checked my UPS number and it still shows that they do not yet have possession of the package.

I just sent the guy an email stating that if I do not see that UPS has possession of the package by Friday, then I am going to the bank to have the charges reversed on the credit card.
He's had enough time to get this right.

I got it Friday afternoon. It is not the finish I expected look's like he was rushing.
It is slightly misaligned but it does look better than two just screwed together.
I would not have let go like this.

Great. I hope it's good enough to seal up.
I sent him an email stating that I was going to reverse the charges if UPS didn't have possession of the package by Friday Feb 25, 2011.
As of this writing, Saturday Feb 26, UPS shows that they have possession and it will be delivered March 4.
He's really shot himself in the foot.
If anyone googles f1filtration, this thread will come up in the search and our testimony will be read.
He's going to have a very hard time living this down because what is written here will remain forever as long as the internet exists.
When it arrives, I will be taking some high resolution pictures of mine and post them up.

It looks like it's functional. It also looks like it was made by an amateur machinist. At least one who doesn't care about the "presentation" of a part. I made parts for 4 years and one like that would get MINIMUM 20-30 mins of sanding and scotch briting beyond what deburr activity has been performed here. Let alone the mismatch. What's that all about? Why the two piece design? I'd have to see the filter seal face to try to understand that better. It looks like there's already plugs, so technically it could and should have been made from a single piece.

The sealing surface is not even machined just extruded finish,
and the cut's are not square!
(fat diesel) its in to pieces so it can be cleaned,
the plug's are for gauges hope this help's. I post it tore apart.
I could have done better with a drill press and chop saw. lmao

Looks like I won't be using mine.
I'm not at all thrilled that it's a multi piece design, huge potential for leaks in the future when the o-rings between the halves get hard and brittle.

Wow Dan!

What a bunch of trouble this guy has caused.I know I would not be in business long if I strung out a customer like that and made a bad product.

I know you have researched the filters, and I'm sure you can build a nice DIY set up.
