It is just starting to snow here. But my school called off classes already last night, because of what is comming. I hope my boss doesn't find out that I got outta classes today... that would mean that I have to go scoop snow for a couple extra hours...

Mornin' Guys! Another beautiful winter morning is upon us!

Hey Brandon, you can come scoop out my driveway when you finish with Pat's... Mother Nature already did half of it, unfortunately, she pushed everything up in front of the garage doors.

I usually am out there with the snow blower first thing, but since the wife and kids are out of town, I just drove through it.

 

Haha you guys are pretty funny! Right now I am trying to figure out what I want to go to college for.. this is such a nightmare.. I have no idea what I want to do.. First I wanted to be a radiologist technician, but I think I would be miserable sitting in a hospital every day of my life.. But the local college here doesn't really offer anything that I want to do.. and I am kinda stuck going to this college for at least my general education..

 

Morning Rob, fixed it for you! I might be heading for the doc, my back is just getting worse and worse, dammit!

 

Well, I'm headed home guys. I'll stop back in later, hopefully I can get in to the damn doctor!

try putting a board under your matress where you sleep. It helps me when my back starts actin' up.

Can get your gen-ed stuff out of the way, while trying to decide what you really want to focus on? But, just be sure those credits will transfer if you think you might want to go to another school.

That is what I am leaning towards right now, but the problem is that I truly have no idea what I want to do. I love working on vehicles, but I don't want to be a mechanic. I love working on our farm, but I don't want to be a farmer. I love working with my hands, but I'm not sure where fabricating comes into play with college... WOW this is becomming a nightmare..

 

The truth is, I love what I do now. Every day is different. Some days I am fueling helicopters and jets, while other days I am assisting the mechanic with an overhaul. There are days that I get to fix broken hangar doors, and I get to meet some of the most interesting people in the world. The only problem is that, even with all the hours I work, I still don't make enough money to make it on my own..

Usually what you really enjoy doing doesn't pay the bills. You can still do a lot of hands-on type work, maybe get a business or ag related degree to back it up. In my opinion, someone that knows how to run a business, and can actually do the hands on part of it too is a good thing!
