Exhaust leak from HELL

Hey guys

Have a 94 F350, 7.5L that I picked up for a project truck. After reading, checking and researching I can feel a heavy leak coming from the left side where the manifold meets the Y pipe flange. After ordering a disconntinued part & shipping it in, we found that the left side manifold bolts are the cause, not the Y pipe

So, took it down to a buddy at an engine shop and he took it apart,as I was afraid the bolt was broke off in the cylinder head and beyond my shop capabilities. He just let me know that part of the cylinder head is missing, ie. chipped or chopped off right next to where the rear manifold bolt goes.

Anyone else ran into this? He's going to try to drill it out & heli coil it, but Just curious as to if anyone else has seen this?
