Any Idea what this sticker is?

I have a sticker under the hood on front that says:

Authorized Modifications
The following modifications have been made:
XV7A-AA (with a sharpie)
These modifications have been approved,
as appropriate, by EPA and CARB.

It is a Ford Sticker with a dealer number and date of 11-8-06.

I guess it could be a recall that has been done to your truck. Just a guess.

Could be. I got the truck last October and just noticed the sticker today while cleaning the engine compartment. I was just curious as to what it was.

Definitely a recall/warranty work thing. I have one under the hood of my truck for a PCM reflash.

My guess is the PCM was reflashed with this calibration.

I'll bet Jody, Diane, or James could verify.....

Yeah, that sounds like a PCM code. Not certain though.

PCM codes are usually three letters and then a number... like mine is an NVK4. My old one was an XLE4 and Clay's is a PMT1... etc. etc. etc.

I would say it is definitely a reflash to change the PCM calibration. I thought that it might be for the LL Injector TSB 03-21-39, but that code is not listed. It is the same format as the new reflash codes though.
