It has four little bendable tabs possibly to clip on to something...
You mean you actually dare to reach down into your cab corners? That could be a thread in itself, posting things found in cab corners!

LOL!!! No doubt! You'd better be current on your shots before attempting such a feat. Something in there is going to bite.

It's not really in the way. I just tossed it into my junk pile. I am curious though as to how something like this made its way into the cab corner and how long it has been there. I was hoping it might be something valuable I could sell on Ebay lol...

I swear I've seen that logo before, and all I can think of is that it's early Lincoln Zephyr. A websearch proved fruitless. I'd post on the HAMB......

I'd appreciate that Ross. Let me know if it turns up anything. The 'Z' could very well be Zephyr. I hadn't thought of that!

It looks similar to the hubcap on the pedal cars for someone about 5 years old. You sat in the car and the pedals had rods to the rear wheels. I had one and remember the tabs. The first time you had to grease or remove the wheels, the caps became missing. They had a cotter key to hold wheels on. I'm not sure your cap is large enough to enclose the cotter key. chuck

Kind of looks like a badge off the top of an old kitchen range etc... I have been in scrap yards before and found little interesting things laying around and ended up asking the guy if I could have them and then just to throw them behind the seat. Whenever I change drivers, I try to clean the old one out good to transfer to new one and always find junk I had forgot about. The emblem looks like "7L", maybe?

I thought it might be an old Hotpoint emblem, or similar electric stove, but couldn't find anything. Here's a good site for old ads: Vintage Car Advertisements of the 1940s (Page 9)

The design looks very familiar to me also but I just can't place it.
I searched all over last night trying to find anything. I tried pedal car hubcaps, old appliances, old car horn buttons, hub caps, heater badges, etc.
