I need to do both of my trucks. Is there a list of DIY parts or is it cheaper to find a kit?

Dennis merged his company with a full service shop and became Sinister Diesel. There became an issue with someone else trying to use the Sinister name so they are now Strictly diesel. Great guy that many of us have dealt with for years. Don't let the name changes scare you.

You are looking for the Pre-Pump kit to do the in tank mods Sinister 7.3L Fuel Tank / Pre-Pump Kit

Or you can build it yourself like in the guzzle link.

Use the Guzzle info but instead of SS use metal brake line from any parts store. About 16" of 5/16 and 4" of 3/8. You can do this for under $50. Do utilize an inline filter between the tank and the pump.

If you can spring the cash, any of those kits are sweet, well put together. I really like Dennis's Strickly Diesel's kit, well worth the money IMO.

x2 on the kit from strictly. I bought from them when they were ITP. Still in the box in the garage.

using guzzle's website for guidance for my own in tanker mod. Used fleetfilter.com for the filter base and filter, and while at it, ordered me up the 6637 and fuel bowl filters. CAN NOT beat there prices. Then hit up Ace hardware for the union fittings and tubing. Think, at most had 35 buks into her.

I'm helping another member do the Hutch and Harpoon mods on his Ex this afternoon. He bought all the pars for the DIY version per Guzzle's link. He has been having problems with sucking air and rough running when the tank gets below 1/4. Has to keep a close eye on the fuel gauge. Time to get this done!

Another vote for Strictly Diesels kit if not going the DIY route. Nice, affordable, backed with good customer service.

I like the Strickly Diesel Kit. But do go to Guzzles site and do all the tank mods while you are at it. I talked to Bob, AKA Guzzle, and he made his own in tank kit because he liked doing things his self. Said you could by the kit from Strickly Diesel for about the same price.
