What do you mean by a drawing and a meter?
Im usually pretty good at fixing things. I never really worked cars before and the first time I work on a car I did a cylinder head change after a timing belt broke lol It took me awhile but I did it with only a little help from the internet. So im holding out hope I can figure this out.

Do you think it makes sense that the fuel pump would be fine since it works when I pull that fuse? Im gonna mess with it later today hope I can figure something out. Thanks for everyones help so far!

An electrical drawing and an understanding of how the circut works so you can test witha meter or test light.

Heres the latest. I was wrong about that fuse it just happend to work they way yesterday. Today the fuel pump wouldnt kick on even with that fuse pulled so there is no link between the two.
I do think it is the fuel pump now, everything seems to point to that. With the truck not starting when low on fuel and today I did the beat on the bottem on the gas tank trick and that worked. Every time the fuel pump wouldnt kick on I hit the bottom on the gas tank and it would kick on. Sounds like the fuel pump to me.

Is there a brand I should get or avoid? I went to autozone.com and looked at them and it is really confusing because each one looks compeletly different.

I was talking to a friend that had the same problem. He told me he changed the fuel filter and that solved his problem. So yesterday thats what I did and it has started every time I have turned the key over. I took it for a drive let it sit for a few mins and it starts everytime. So I got my fingers crossed that the problem has been solved and so cheap!!!!

On a side note get some good SAFTY glasses when changing the filter. When I got the hose off the hose kinda sprong off of the filter shaft because the hose is kinda springy and the little bit of gas that is just sitting in the line went through the underneath part of my glasses and stright into my eye!!

Next time you need to change the filter there is a Schrader valve in the fuel line on top of the motor. Bleed the pressure off there and you won't have the spray problem.

I did that. The gas didnt spray like it was under pressure. There is gas in the line even when not under pressure. The hose kinda got stuck on the end of the filter shaft because the hose is stiff. So when it came off it tossed out the little bit of fuel that just sits in the line.
