Keep them photos coming!

It's really fun watching the industrious progress.

Wish I were closer. I'd come out with a paint roller and spend some time (and I HATE painting!!!).

Going back to work at the house in the snooty HOA neighborhood..........got the loud generator, loud press. washer, loud mower,... gonna unhook the trailer and blast through a giant mudhole at 25mph, so I can leave plenty of mud on their oh-so clean street.

Toss a copy of the HOA rules at me will ya'?

Thanks Marv! I'll keep posting pics as long as people don't get bored.........I'm really happy with the way things are going. I've always had to fit myself into buildings that were already to move into. This time is much better because we can build a shop that works better and fits our needs much better! Having a dedecated paint booth is really going to improve what my son and I want to do.

Congrats Dave! That was your 12,000th post!

Why anyone would buy a home with a HOA is beyond me........I've got a buddy that lives with one. He wanted to paint the house and they REFUSED to allow him to paint it a different color.......We have a "thing" here in Oregon called "Century Farms" for farms that have been in the same family for over 100 years, and most farms around here qualify. Nobody will sign up for it because you can't change a thing on YOUR OWN FARM! If you want to remove an old chicken coop that is falling down YOU CAN'T!!! If you want to see farmers blood pressure rise just mention "Century Farms" at the local restaurant in the morning when a bunch of them are having morning coffee...................

If your asking me and not Marv I've painted customs for over 30 years. Everything from cars to semi's, no unhappy customers yet.............

My biggest problem is I'm never satisfied........I can find flaws that others cannot even see, but I can, and it bugs me forever...........

Oregon has Bureaucratic Land Use *****? Really??

Whooda' thunkit?

Amazing! Some desk-jocky in Salem "knows best" what's good for families that have had their place for over a hundred years.

How did they EVER get along for the first ninty-nine?

Of course, I suspect you can't "un-sign up".

Yep, and they migrated from California.................Damn-it

The land use laws up here are a disgrace

No, once you sign up you can't change anything HISTORIC on your place.

Under the new antique laws from Salem, farm junk piles older than 50 years can't be scrapped out because of their POTENTIAL historic value...............

Sure glad I'm old...................

Glad that wasn't in place 10 years ago when grampa passed and we had to clear off the 13 acres he'd lived and raised a family on since the late 1930's.....
