Yes Edith has the spur tooth 4 speed, so double clutching is in order, but I did a lot of that when I was younger. My first truck driving experiences as a kid included a '48 F5 race car hauler and a '51 Reo Gold Comet dump. thanks for the compliment.

My goal is to drive my F1 to our clubs first show in May. It's going to stay in primer for awhile, and it won't be air conditioned yet, etc, but it will be drivable.

My plan is to have my IFS, 4 link, and Brakes installed in the next month along with the steering column and drive shaft, Engine running and driving within the following month, then the glass and interior the month after, and the last 6 months of the year doing body work.

Thanks Garry, I'll see you at the GSM F100 in June, and then I'll be up your way in early July.
Finally got some warmer weather this weekend, went from mid 30's one day to in the 70's over the weekend, that allowed me to stain the side rails, inside pockets supports and the rear bumper, and then apply the first coat of varnish to three sides of the side rails. I've been waiting to do the stain and varnish for about 3 weeks, now I need about 2 weeks of above 50° weather to get the other 7 coats of varnish on it. Unfortunately the weather man says we will only get 2 more days.

All good posts, I just talked to my painter yesterday and we are ready to go, the good thing is we will work on it when I get there and I will leave when it's done, no waiting and I get to help. Haven't done an all over job in 10 years so it will be fun to be in the booth again. Not setting any goals to be "done" they never pan out. I do one thing every day and every day there is something else to do!
