Sounds great! I am thinking of meeting Curt in Cassidy (or somewhere) and we all convoy down! Curt and I only go 60-65mph. Thinking of meeting up with him around 10 ish? That should give us all time to get up and around. Another couple guys from the Wichita 4x4 club are going too.

Looks like depending on which way we go -- Cassody, Yates Center, Fredonia, or Neodosha-- would be the places to meet up with Curt--- depending on how he goes. So Curt and I will plan have to plan that out. Ed will be driving along too-- and my brother from Ellsworth. (who might stay at my place) I now know a small back road to Cassody that I tried out today :-)

Del? Swede? Anyone else going? i am calling in tomorrow for a "cabin" if i need to reserve more let me know soon.

Ed is sleeping in his "camper"-- So is Justin and Jamie in their "camper" - I think Curt might be sleeping in his-- maybe-- I don't know about the other 2 or 3 coming from Wichita.

Cool!
Well I got a "cabin" reserved.

Guess meet at my place @ 9:15 and get to Cassody @ 10 to meet Curt-- and hopefully be there by 4:00 or 5:00 with a lunch stop on the way :-)

I finally had a chance to look at the map, Would you be interested in meeting me in Parsons on the way down? I haven't calculated what time yet, but that would be the shortest trip for me at 274 miles /9 miles per gallon= 30ish gallons. coming back, I will follow you back up to Newton, then north to Abiline, because we are having a birthday dinner for my dad that evening at Brookville Hotel.

Parson's for lunch will change the time we leave my place-- 8:30ish will put us there about noon - ish. How often does the dog need to pee (or the wifey?) Troys boys will need a stop every so often. Parsons to Disney will be less then 2 hours :-)

Justin do you have a CB in your truck? It makes traveling in a group so much better.

(Do you have one in the jeep?)

Now if I can get my rig working all should be good!

We could easily get away with 1 pee break at 10:00ish, none if needed. We are pretty low maintenence

No CB in the truck, the one in the Jeep is pretty well hard wired in too. I may buy a handheld unit to keep in the truck and possibly in the Jeep for this trip since mine is finicky. Would a cheapie at Wal-mart be a good buy if I want a mile or so coverage?
