Almost forgot, here we go: they are 1 5/8" back from the body line above windshield (not windshield moulding) of course middle one is centered, others are 12" on center from each other which leaves about 6" from the center of the outer ones to the outside edge of the gutter. When I bought a set from Ford in early 80's for my 76 the set actually came with a templete (long gone of course). Hope this helps.

is there a way to hook up the lights to your lights switch? Would someone be able to take a picture of this box you have to run the wires to behind the kick panel? Not sure if it's on my truck? Thanks

Holy dead thread.

They will PLUG into the plug at the passenger kick panel if you read this thread.

As for installing them..

okay, thanks, my kit didn't come with the plug, just a switch to turn the lights on and off and a bunch of wire. I guess i will just have to go and get a plug then.

Get a factory cab light harness and it will be a MUCH better setup than the aftermarkt junk you are dealing with now

IMO you don't even need a plug... I didn't have one with the kit I ordered. All you have to do is find out which wires are hot according to each setting of the headlight switch, i.e. when lights are off, marker lights on only, and both... Once you found the hot that runs to the correct setting you want the lights to flip on with then wire the lights into that hot wire. Lastly, make sure the ground is secure because if you don't then it WILL give you trouble

Something I drew up. These are the most common measurements from searching many hours. The outside measurements will vary on truck model, of course.

3 in center

Lights Centered
