Snorkle BII
You can fabricate a snorkle out of pvc pipes and fittings(my bud has a jeep with one). to keep water out, connect a 'U' section to the top with mabey chicken or screen wire on it to keep critters out. make it at least to top of roof and secure it good with brackets. make sure its attached and sealed to the airbox also, if not your defeating the purpose. use at least 4inch pvc tubing/fittings .make sure all your wiring etc is well water-proofed and the floor boards and body is sealed good too. spray-on under-coating in multiple layers I'd do. have fun!!

Snorkles
Yes,, the snorkle will have to come up the right side either through fender and angled back or up thru hood and angled back, depends how youd want to do it. maybe fabricate a bracket to hold it steady to the 'A' pillar or roof/ also. but make sure its got a 'U' or 'L' shaped end to keep water and critters out. just my ideas,,, regards Larry

If waterproofing is your main goal (over looks) a snorkel is going to be the last step. Be sure that the distributor, ignition, and all other electronics are waterproof first. Don;t forget about the breather tubes for the axles, trans, and transfer case either. If you submerge your truck without waterproofing these things you could be really screwed.
