98 expedition/powerdyne
Any help would be appreciated. I have a powerdyne supercharger kit for a 1997 mustang gt with a 4.6. Wondering if this would fit on my expedition with a 4.6. It seems that powerdyne has gone out of business so I don't know where to direct this question. I can't even find a part number for the mustang kit and a part number for the exp. kit. thanks in advance , mike

The biggest thing that would worry me is that the engines are not entirely the same. If one is a Windsor and the other is a Romeo you will have difficulty even though they are both Ford 4.6 engines. To start with, make certain the engines are a match by counting and comparing the cam cover bolts.

The 4.6 truck motor uses the supercharger in a backwards mount with the pulley facing forward, whereas the Mustang 4.6 will mount the supercharger with the compressor wheel facing forward and the pulley in the back. Trying to use one system on the other engine will result in the supercharger spinning backwards when you try to mount the charger in the opposite orientation. I have a 5.4 Paxton Novi 2000 setup available that will work on the 4.6 truck motor.
