Starter Issues! A better then stock Starter?
My starter is starting to go bad, so I'm looking to replace it. The thing is, i don't know what to get, I'm looking for a starter that works better then stock!, does anyone know of any good brands out there.

Some are getting the gear reduction starter for the SD . Spins over much faster . When my starter craps out , that 's what I'm getting ....

Got a brand name with that SD starter? and will it fit a 1997 7.3l 445 V8 Powerstroke?

What's the correct number of teeth for the starter? Looks like the 'standard' 7.3L starter from there has 12 teeth and the 'high torque' has 13 teeth. Just don't want someone to get the wrong one..
