I have a 53, and I just got the bed dimensions then went to tractor supply and bought the biggest sized runner truck mat they sold (I think it was for a recent Chevy)... I've been meaning to trim it down to fit, but when I've needed it I simply put it in and let the excess go up the sides all around
I say just go to your local place that sells the mats cheap and buy the biggest one they have... or if they aren't all the same price, the biggest one that will cover the bed. be careful that any wheel well indents in the mat don't bring the width narrower than the bed.
Tractor Supply stores are really neat places but unfortunately here in SoCal there is little need for farm related products so we don't have any stores. I would think that a mat this size would cost a pretty penny to ship.
There is a company downtown San Diego that deals in belts and other related industrial materials, I forget the name but you should ba able to find it with a little searching...they would be the best source that I know of here locally. Every so often I see them at Pep Boys or some of the big box stores as well...they are a little too big to carry on a daily basis but I have seen them on special promotions. A moving quilt works good for me....

Same thing here but for some reason they chose to open a new store a mile from my house We definitely do not have any working farms around here... unless you count the few cranberry bogs headed towards Cape Cod...
No one I've spoken to can understand why they openned a store here...

Mark my words, you'll be surprised. I've got a small farm and I used to drive on occasion close to 90 miles to their nearest store just to get little things like 3-point pins, hay string, etc. Now there's one about 20 miles from my house with hardly any farms at all around here. And they seem to be the busiest store. But back on the topic, one of those oversized shop floor mats cut to fit might be an option. It would provide some padding and protection if you actually use your truck to haul things from time to time.
