Front fender reflectors

Hello,
I recently bought a Meadow mist green 56 F100. It appears to be mostly original with a 272, three speed and it runs great. It has an old AAA of southern California sticker on the window and the last title is from Las Vegas. It has a little surface rust on the frame and wheel wells but every thing else looks solid and untouched. It has two spare tires mounted on each side of the bed. I read on these forums that the right side tire mount isn't original, but you cant tell the difference after looking at the left side. The brackets and plates all look the same. It also has a rugged rear step bumper and lots of cargo tie down hooks on the bed and back of the cab.On the radiator shroud is stenciled K49-766 and the word ANTIFREEZE over it. Fleet truck? The thing that I'm curious about is the amber front fender reflectors. They seem to be stamped from the inside to buldge out and the reflectors are over them. I haven't found any other pictures of trucks with these reflectors yet. Why would they stamp these instead of just screwing to the flat fender?
I plan on bringing the truck up to our barn in Maine so we"ll have a cool old truck for picking up supplies and cruising the mountains. I'll be replacing the master cyl. with a dual for safety. Seems like a great bunch of people on these forums. I'm looking forward to learning more about these trucks.
Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom, welcome to the forum! It sounds like you have a rather unique and very cool truck. I'm sure we'd all like to see pictures of it, and the features you mentioned. I'd like to see the reflectors you're talking about. I find those kind of modifications interesting. The things that people will do are amazing. Please share when you get a chance.

Hello again,
Just figured out how to post pics in my album. Too much snow around here to cruise it around and see what might need. So far replacing brake lines and upgrading the master is on the list.
