How do I get into this business??! I'll pack up and move next week.

 

Framer and trim contractor, last year or so do anything in construction bes.

 

Group leader at American Buildings a Nucor Company for the last 16 years.

 

Right now I'm looking for work.

I was let go after 12 years.

I can do just about anything, just need to land something NOW. I'm about going crazy from all this down time.

 

Firefighter/EMT going on 8 yrs. When not working my 24's I own my own business. Construction during the summer, snow plowing in the winter.

 

Car wash owner for the last 26 years.

 

Building materials distributer, construction on the side, two teenage boys fulltime!

 

Jack of all trades... I have a BS in Accounting. I've been an accounting supervisor, solid waste supervisor, rubber extrusion supervisor, graphite electrode production engineer, internal auditor, accounting coordinator, product administration manager, Oracle consultant, and now an independent Oracle consultant. Out of all of these jobs, I like my current job best of all.

PS: No wife, no kids... but lots of free time!

I own a landscaping company and work with my dad at his garden center on my slow days.10 years deep, without counting working weekends while in HS.

 

Work? Man I gave that crap up about 6 yrs ago. Interfered with my fun time so I retired. Then I had a couple of kids and the fun time went away anyway! What's up with that? At 48 I'm just a Proud Daddy of 4 & 5 yr old girls, 24/7.

Chemical Engineer in an engineering consulting firm, I design Pharmaceutical and Biologics manufacturing facilities. Not terribly exciting. The truck is just for hunting, working around the house and pulling the (future) boat.

 

I'm a farm hand. I use my truck on the farm, and I also use it for hunting and off roading.

I'm 17 and drive a 1980 F150 4X4 extended cab long bed.
