Not to hijack, but jb65542: could you take a picture of your lower front shock mounts for me? And what kind of steering setup are you using? Got a picture of that?

Thanks, great looking truck.
Sorry I don't have any pics of it, the steering is off of a late seventies ford and I had to move the sector back as far as I could get it and if I remember right we had to custom make the drag link because the pitman arms are different on the sectors, as far as the shock mounts go I got a kit for a older ford bronco and it has two tabs that hold the shock and they are just welded to the front cap of the radius arm that holds the axle, I will look later and see if I have any pictures of it, I would just take some but I was stupid and sold the truck
nice looking crew cab does he have any lift on it to fit those 35's? how did he get the long bed did he convert it to 4wd or did he extend the frame?
No lift and the leafs are clapped. This spring he's upgrading to the disc brake HD D44 and swapping in a set of leaves off one of my trucks. It's a factory highboy and the frame was extended to fit the long box.
good to know thanks. does he rub at all with those tires while turning or during suspension travel? what did he have to do to swap in the 460? what kind of engine mounts/perches did he end up using i'm about to do the 460 swap along with the disc 44 front axle setup in my 71 crew it's good to see pics of crew cabs on here you don't ever see them just single cabs
