460 EFI Headers, catalytic converter, exhaust

Happy New Year to all Ford truck owners! Currently own 1997 F350 4x4 crew cab w/460EFI. 135k miles. California truck with stock MAF setup.

Adding L&L Ultraflow headers and going to replace catalytic converter and o2 sensor.

Would like to delete muffler and replace with glass pack in same location--behind the cat and in front of rear axle.

Questions: best high flow catalytic converter for this engine? Optimal pipe size from headers to cat to glass pack to rear exit?
Best sounding glass pack for this very long single pipe exhaust?

Appreciate feedback on this cat + glass pack setup.

Thanks all.

I dont see any provisions for a EGR valve on the L&L headers. If you do end up getting them, spend the extra $$ on the nickle plating.

As for a cat, i am running just a hi-flow 3".

A glasspack i dont think will give you enough back pressure and it will pop and crackle on a decel

Thanks Brad. You mean you're running a cat or just straight 3"pipe? What brand of cat?
L&L does make the "air injection" type for the air injected manifold set up on my truck. Photos of that variety are in the Suburban/Tahoe section.
The fellow on the phone at L&L suggested going with the standard header variety without the air injection (as truck now resides in AZ) and plug one of the air injection tubes. He also suggested a chambered muffler vs glass pack.

I know little about this air injected manifold, so I'm going to read up.

A hi-flow 3" cat. I dont remember which brand and it does not really matter, they are all the same

For a muffler i am running a single chamber flowmaster 20 series race muffler
