It came out of an awesome 1965 F100 resto-mod when the PO (Mike) decided to put bucket seats in. I believe it's the original upholstery but may have been colored green or touched up with green at some point. It's in great, I think, original condition.

2 = Medium Blue Crush Vinyl & Medium Blue Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.
Where is the wicker pattern vinyl? It's not there because the seat has been reupholstered.
I have the original 1961/66 Ford truck seat swatches (in color), which will soon become "sticky's" in this forum, along with: 1965/66 exterior color chip charts, 1965/66 accessory brochures, myriad 1961/66 parts catalog pics....all courtesy of fabmandeluxe.

Color - W
Body - 281
Trans - N
Axle - 07

Wicker pattern vinyl is composed of light and medium shades of blue in a weave pattern.
This is what the 1965 F100 I bought new had (body 281), but I don't see anything like this on your truck's seat.
As I recall (I reupholstered the seat in 1983), Wicker pattern would be inserted below the crush vinyl on the backrest, the entire seat cushion would be Wicker pattern.

The upper portion of the backrest (about 1/3rd of the seat) has the gear & lightning bolt embossed on the crush vinyl in the center.
Below the crush vinyl (about 2/3rds of the seat) is entirely composed of Wicker pattern as is the seat cushion, but...
I could be wrong..after looking at exterior factory photos, it appears the crush vinyl extends down the backrest in the center to the seat cushion, with inserts on either side.
What I see on your backrest is two horizontal inserts. As I recall, no 1961/66 Standard Cab had any such pattern. The color of your seat does not match the swatch.
If Boss9F100 sees this, I'm sure he'll chime in. He was right as rain when he said that green tuck and roll was not original upholstery (links in posts 2 & 3).

I agree. I remember Mike told me something about the small vinyl damage the seat had but I didn't pay much attention to him because it was in such great condition. I also don't think the original upholstery was quite as nice as mine, and I'm sure he mentioned that he reupholstered it at some point. Anyway I hope I didn't throw you off track.

I have 4 known original seat trucks. They all have the Lightning bolt embossed in seat back. This tan seat is a bit rough but original non custom cab. I think there were quite a few variances/colors but all I have seen have the lightning bolt.
This is my original 66 CC upholstery along with the restored seat.
my "other" 65 looks the same.
I have a few samples and it looks different from what has been posted. would like to see the seat back on the blue seat..

post a decent pic of seat back center... I remember my dads std interior seat pattern to be similar to that. It was red though.
