I finished a Jag XJ6 swap into my truck a few months ago. I can tell you that its an incredible front suspension. Very tight handling and road feel, and plenty strong unlike some of the MII setups...
It also looks fantastic. The fenders hug the wheels just right now. I am 100% satisfied.

I have an 80 camaro under mine, no motor yet. My uncle has also put a camaro clip on his 55 F-100 and a trans am clip on a 50's pontiac. And many M2's.
People keep telling me to put a 350 in it so it will bolt right into the camaro k member. Thats not really how I want to go. Some ford motors you can get the rear sump pan.
Ideally I want a 4.6 DOHC, if my budget will ever allow it.

I am putting a 4.6 DOHC in mine with a Camaro subframe. I would never do the Camaro again. I think the CV is a better way to go. I don't like cutting the frame. The 4.6 fits great in the subframe, plenty of firewall and radiator clearance. The valve covers are really close to the inner fender aprons. I am figuring about 1 finger thickness from the valve cover to the apron.
The 4.6 wiring isn't that dificult to figure out, just time consuming.
kstones - i checked out your pics in your garage. Is that a gas cap behind your tail light, frickin awesome. Is it also an electric actuator opener/closer?
It looks like the cv is a GREAT way to go. Mine was sub framed about 1994 so the cv wasnt an option then.
I don't have the 4.6 in the truck yet. I have started with motor mounts and the wiring right now. I need more work so I can get enough money together to rebuild the engine and trans before it goes in. I have another subframe that I am using to do all the mock up on.
The fuel filler is behind the taillight. It is not electric operated. I have a cable that hangs under the fender to release the light. It is spring loaded so that it pops out. I am thinking about putting an electric release on it. I think that would be much better than reaching under the fender to find the cable.
