06 6.0 oil leak

My warranty expires in a few weeks and I have noticed a very slight oil leak. Oil seems to drip from the back of the engine onto the tranny (bellhousing I think) maybe one drip in my driveway three times a week the size of a dime sometimes less. The oil pan looks like the the gasket might be leaking, no real accumulation of oil on the pan though.

So is this the bedplate leaking? Get it fixed or not?

Truck is 2006 f350 cc 4x4 with 76,500 miles runs great owned it for 4 months and have a lot of payments to make until it's mine free and clear.

Thanks
Mark

Get a quote from Partsguyed.com to extend the warranty all the way to 200,000 miles if needs be.

Then don;t sweat it.

If this oil leak is bothering you (which I'm assuming since you took the time to make this request) then get it fixed now. These oil leaks sometime takes some time to get them fixed.

The 6.0 psd is notorious for oil leaks BTW.

Welcome to owning a 6 leaker, built by ford. I have owned 3, and two leaked oil. The only one that didn't...I bought brand new and kept it stock for 90K miles..then traded it. (Someone will get a really nice truck) My wifes excursion(Black Limited, 4X4), also traded...last week, had a 200K warranty which still has 85K/18 months left on the warranty. She wanted something smaller (traded for a BMW x5). Anyway...it had an oil drip (common problem) it was in the shop 3-4 times for the same oil drip...they never found anything so I let it be and bought the warranty. It is for sale at United BMW in Atlanta GA. Ask for Justin and tell him Andy sent you...he will take care of you...probably get it for 20K...awesome deal(if you don't mind the drip)

Arrington and Blount Ford....Lawrenceville GA

All three had their chance...

You are correct...I need a different Dealer....Chevrolet of Dodge Perhaps.

I got a quote about a month ago from him so mabe I'll do that.

The leak is so minor I will probably just live with it.
