The pics are after 1 hour of running today. Tested the heater core, flows fine. Clutch fan blowing alot of air. Water pump replaced about 2 years ago, when I got serious about chasing this issue (so pump should be functioning fine)

Heater hose: 125-134 degrees after 1 hour

Upper rad hose: 106

Lower hose: 92

Intake: 97

Valve cover: 123

Temp gauge: just above cold

Heater; Only blowing warm air

Exhaust maifold: 400 degrees

Boys, we have the miracle engine. Any comments ideas?

OH by the way....the system is not holding any pressure......which is could be a hint. After an hour I removed the rad cap ...absolutley zero pressure.

Hey wait!

Is there any chance your truck has a hidden heavy duty rv towing package setup with some monsterous oil cooler somewhere?

My truck has the quad shock set up in the front which I believe is for towing purposes, but I have not found any kind of oil cooler.

Hopefully I won't get flamed for this...I believe that it is correct that the rad cap doesn't have any pressure since the coolant really isn't getting to the point to expand and create pressure. Really if the temp is not reaching operating temp, then the t-stat won't open and start the process of removing air from the system, other than a purging system.

Someone suggested blocking the rad of with a piece of cardboard. I would do that, and try to get hot, not overheating. ANOTHER suggestion...remove the fan and only the fan. Run the vehicle 10 to 15 mins. Get a reading on temp and keep an eye on things. The only thing I can think of at the this moment is, perhaps, the clutch fan is staying on (A) somewhat torqued position and not releasing torque to allow the truck to fully warm up.

Yep, I had the same thought a few minutes ago while watching tv. How can it build pressure if its not getting hot.

Cardboard....all my readings were while the truck was parked. Putting cardboard in front of the rad while the truck is sitting still won't change much.

Today after 50 minutes of running

Stat housing after 50 min. The highest reading I got after finding the hottest area was 143 degrees.

Obviously the 195 stat will not open at 140 degrees.

ANOTHER UPDATE

OK, she has been out there idling for 1.5 hours.

Reaching in there at idle, I put my hand right in front of the t- stat housing. There was NO noticeable airflow. Don't think a frozen fan is the issue, especially when it turns freely by hand.

Put cardboard in front of rad. The highest temp at the stat housing after 1.5 hrs was 159 degrees.

Come on, whats going on here?

Not sure what you mean....its a clutch fan. At idle it is blowing some air, mostly from the tip s of the blades, nothing really at all from the center area of the fan, hence feeling no flow at the t stat area.

Thats a good question. On a cold engine would the fan not spin at all, OR would it spin at a reduced amount from slight friction?

I don't think I've ever seen a clutch fan sitting totally still while the engine was running.

have you removed the fan from the clutch fan housing and let it run for a few minutes to see if if there is any noticable change? I would give that a shot to see.
