Time is approaching for the transplant of the Cummins into my 2003 EB 4x4 Excursion with the good PI heads (spark plugs are the deeper thread count).

Knowing how these conversions get delayed by various issues it may be the fall of this year approx.

Just wondering what a complete long block with ALL accessories is worth out there.

Might be letting the 4R100 go with it depending on whether I build the V10 version or a Diesel one.

Opinions welcome. Thanks guys.

 

No clue on the price of a long block.
I have heard nothing but awesomeness about the 12v CUmmns. Was considering swapping out my 6.0-Oooooohhhhh for the Cummins in my F250, but got side tracked a bit and started looking at Excursions. For a bit more than a engine and its installation, I get an X w a V10 -closest I'll come to owning a Ferrri. ANd if the v10 ever goes bad, I'll probably put the Cummins in there.
