Hmmmmm. Ball joints, fun job!!!
Make sure that you check the front axle U joint while you have everything apart. Easy to replace when doing the ball joints. Unless it was previously replaced with one having a grease fitting, its probably shot. Even though you have lockout hubs, that joint still moves every time you turn the wheels, so they tend to wear out, especially the original ones. I took my axle to a machine shop to have the joints pressed out/in, as they are hard to do yourself without a big vise and the big C clamp like press. Come to think about it, when I did mine years ago I took both axles and both front spindles to a machine shop and got everything pressed in for like 30 dollars. Money well spent. Guy told me that it takes tons of force to do the ball joints in the spindles.
The body looks pretty good on your truck, as I see you are in snow country. How many miles are on it? All four wheel openings on mine are badly rusted.

1.8 to 1 seems really far off. Search for how to program your speedo for your tires. I have not tried the procedure but it sounded easy. what size are your tires? they look approx correct. I am nervous of the tag being missing on your pillar though. look like a repaint? or an attempt to hide the vin?

Update:
Just an update:
Had both Ball Joints replaced. Upper & Lower
Changed out both Rear Wheel Cylinders ( had to get new brakelines as they were seized up )
Changed Oil
Rear Dif. was low so changed that.
Everything looked good w/ Tranny
Found new things to address:
Timing Plate looks to have a small coolant leak... so I am watching fluid levels daily WaterPump looks OK, but its older, so will be hitting both of these at the same time, when ready.
Picking up 2 new 235/75/15 Goodyear Wrangler Radial Monday since the ones on the Rear are new. Found some for $84 ea. mounted.
Hope to have some more pics up soon.

went by the local muffler shope today and they checked out my exhaust for me...
looks like a stud and the donut are needing work. scheduled that for next tuesday. everything else checked out OK, found out it has a glasspack.
I think I am going to have the pipes run straight out the back.
Tomorrow scheduled for Wheel alignment.

So which is the better to have? I have an F250 with a 351 c.i. and I tow a car trailer, 25 foot Pontoon Boat, and a 27 foot Wildwood Camper with it.

Good question, difficult to answer.
C6 is tough as old boots but no locking toeque converter and only 3 speed with no overdrive but also no electronics (no computer needed).
E4OD has locking converter and overdrive so big improvement on fuel economy over the C6 but is electronically controlled by a computer.
You pays your money and takes your choice.

Ok, thanks for the answer. I have the E4OD in my F-250.
