Looks like he just got through rattle-canning it as well, "new paint", check out the door pulls. I like how he says he is only the 3rd owner (with approx 58000 miles) as if hes had it awhile then proceeds to explain how the PO *JUST* spent $500 on new stuff, sounds like hes trying to flip it for a quick profit. Talk about trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear....

Wow... and it looks like he painted over plenty of rust. Inside the truck bed at the front corners looks like pretty bad rust he tried to paint over.

That truck has one heck of alot more miles on it than 58K! The white '79 I just sold said it had 55K on the odometer. ....and it looked MUCH better than that truck. I wonder how many times it's had 58K on it? A relatively clean truck with a $20 paint job doesn't make it worth $6K. Another thing, what's the rare part of a '76 Ford half ton? That's like saying you have a rare '97 Dodge Intrepid. They only made 120,000 of them, so it must be rare.

correct me if i'm wrong, but isnt that truck supposed to have a FE under the hood? original 302? really? this seller is all kinds of on CRACK! ha ha ha ha ha. an deff. not worth 5600. that truck is so rare, it was only made for 7 yrs. and its a 2wd rust bucket. i like his pic of the new rear shocks. looks like the shock mount is about to fall off from rust. what a joke

Wow. $5600?!?! Is he effin nuts? I bet if I could look underneath it I'd find that the cab mount on the passenger's side is rusted out. Either that or the truck got wrecked on that side and someone did a ****-poor job of repairing it. I can look at that engine and tell that it has more than 58,000 miles on it. And it's not like 76 is a model year that is in huge demand by collectors. As much as I hate to say it, Fords made in the mid 70s aren't known for being very good trucks. 74-76 were horrible years for Ford.

Damn. Some of y'all are gonna want my head on a silver platter. Go ahead and flame away, but I know I am right. You may have gotten a good one, but 74-76 are some of the worst years for Ford trucks.

Im curious why 74-76, were 73-75 and 77-79 somehow superior?
