well usually the dust shields are rotted out, so you can take them off once the rotors and hub are off. so just bend it out of the way if you have to. (i took then off and didnt replace them)

That expensive dust cover has 3 or 4 bolts that hold it in place, which I think you have to get the rotor off 1st to get to them. How does the rotor turn? With noise? The outer bearing looks a little dry in the pic. There are slide hammer pullers that could be used to pull on the rotor.

So all i have to do is pull insanely hard? or hammer it?
btw i'm throwing the rotor away because its grinded down from my wheel falling off while driving
a have a dust cover or whatever you call it on the back and i dont know how to take that off so there is only a little portion (where the caliper was) where i can hit it with a hammer.
Well I hope you did not bend something there. You have to get the rotor and hub off, then the spindle off to get the dust cover off.

I would get between the knuckle and the rotor with a pry bar and try to pop that thing off there then. Sounds like there is some major damage going on in there to me. I am wondering what the rear bearing looks like.

You said it moves forward a little then stops? Maybe about 1/2 a inch? I might be willing to bet the rear bearing is stuck on the spindle and once it comes to the rear seal the hub stops moving. As I said get in there with a pry bar and pop it off. If that what's happening you will need to pry and get the rear seal to pop out / out of the Hub, and the hub and rotor will fall right off.

A little more disclosure in your original post would have made this much easier. Hope you didn't screw up too much stuff in there.

Drive it 'till the wheels fall of is just an expression. You didn't really have to do that.

haha nothing else you need to know. just that one bearing is out and not the inner one. and that it spins

the wheel falling off is pretty much the only trouble with it.

unless you have a bent spindle...that would cause the hard time getting the hub off.

The fact that the wheel spins means the bearing isn't frozen and moves in the race. The only thing that's holding the rotor on the spindle is the grease seal. The inner bearing is not removable until after the rotor comes off but there is absolutely nothing else in the way. Once that outer bearing comes out there's just nothing else there.

Pull harder.

The outer wheel bearing cone should come out after the roller assembly that is shown in your picture.
Looks like it might still be in the rotor, try to move it with a screwdriver or a cold chiesel then when it's in the correct position the hub should slide off with the outer bearing cone.

There should be inner cone, roller assembly and grease seal in the rotor on the inside portion.

The "cone" is called a bearing race. They are pressed into the rotor and you definitely do not need to remove them to get the rotor off.

i did it!! i got if off!
now i just need to figure out how to put the new one on.

it seems that the grease seal is sliding back (off of the inner bearing) and the rotor doesnt stay on.

does anyone know how to get the rotor to stay on? with the grease seal in place of course.

I don't quite understand your dilemma. The grease seal is pressed in, all you do is slide the assembly back on and put the first nut on. That'll hold everything together from there.

you can see the grease seal on the inner bearing on the spindle.
the grease seal is moved behind the inner bearing when i slide the rotor and hub on. i feel like i need the grease seal to be inside the hub.

You need to take the seal and bearing off the spindle, And clean and repack the bearing first. the seal preses into the hub on the back side. Also clean up that spindle.
