will 265/75/16's fit on 8" wheel okay?

will 265/75/16's fit on 8" wheel okay?
found a set of wheels priced good that are 1" larger than my stockers.
tires on my current rims are oe size, different brand, but a nice e rated tire.
would these go on okay?

should go on just fine. I wouldn't go any larger on wheel with out going up in tire size, but 265s on an 8 in shuold be fine.

yeah, i'm not looking for anything crazy, just a little look over the stockers

I believe our stock rims are 7 inches wide so yes, your cool. Just corrected.

my oasis says 16x7 rim size

That size is from outside to outside. The stamp on the wheel 16x7 is from inside lip to inside lip.

I would check to make sure the offset on the new wheels will fit on your truck. I had a guy and the ford dealer swear the rims off his/a 06 f250 would fit my 2000. f250. The front rubbed against the leaf spring when turning and the right rear rubbed against the brake shield. I was able to sell and break even, but what a pain. May not be your case at all. just fyi
